inFamous now on the shelves

inFamous was a long awaited Ps3 exclusive that truly gives you the best experience of a super hero video game. The game is developed by Sucker Punch, and it is easily judged as their best work yet. In the game, you are Cole McGrath and you search for the cause of the plague, which magically infected you with electric powers. You get to roam the Empire City and fight as a good or a bad guy, and the story will progress depending on your actions. As Cole, you can jump over buildings like Altair, kill the citizens with you electric power, and even glide on train tracks. Aside from the regular story missions, there are a ton of side-quests that will get you experience points to enhance your powers. Although the game’s visuals are average, the game itself is in a league of its own. It has a 30 hour gameplay like no other. Check out its demo at Playstation Store and buy this game now for $60.

UPDATE: inFamous and Prototype

You might get to wait 2 more weeks for inFmaous, while the people who pre-ordered it had a chance to play the demo. I know you can’t wait, but this might keep you busy. Here is a gameplay video for the demo (thanks to SINTUMGO)

Prototype is coiming to Europe on June 5ht and June 9th in North American. This is a full intro cinematic of the game. Luckily it does show the character getting more than one power. Take a look.

PS3 Exclusives Hands-on: MAG, inFamous, Uncharted 2, White Knight Chronicles

This April, Gamespot and Joystiq have had an opportunity to have a look at some of the upcoming PS3 exclusives over at Sony Computer Entertainment for Sony Gamers Day 2009.

MAG

Massive Action Game (MAG) is a 256 player online FPS shooter game in which, you have squads of 8 fighting the other 31 squads. Previewed at E3 2008, MAG has a concept that is perhaps impossible to achieve. Many doubt this game can actually have 256 players play in one single match, but the same people will praise it if it comes out to be successful. The game is coming this fall.

 

inFamous

inFamous is a game similar to Prototype, which basically follows a similar concept of GTA.  There is a video showing parts of Empire City and a little bit of what you can do in it. The video was originally presented by Joystiq. You can get your hands on this game on May 26th.

 

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

Unlike its predecessor, Uncharted 2 will contain Multiplayer, and we found out that it wil lalso contain Co-op Mode. The game is coming this fall. Take a look at the 2 videos below for more on the Multiplayer and Co-op.

 

White Knight Chronicles

White Knight Chronicles came out in Japan December 2008. In this typical RPG game, you are on your way to rescue a princess, and along the way you acquire a mysterious power of the White Knight. While the gameplay system is very unique from other RPG’s, the online takes you in with a 4-player Co-op, in which you have 1 hour to finish a particular quest. The release date will be announced at E3.

 

 

Last but not least, we have our first E3 rumor. PS3 might have a motion sensor controller “Sony Remote” similar to the Wii’s. Even though the Sixaxis controller can do it, they might want to take it to the next level.

Uncharted 2 to have Multiplayer?

First, just read the poster on the image above. It is all in plain English, so be sure to understand that there is going to be a multiplayer for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Recently, there was news about something new for inFamous and Uncharted 2. So was this the news? I think the news was meant to be really for the voucher, but it came out to be something bigger that is revealed by the poster. Who knows if this was intended to be that way? So will there be multiplayer for Uncharted 2? Most likely, but we aren’t absolutely confirmed. There will be more news on this so be sure to subscribe to our RSS feeds.
