Thanks to the latest issue of Qore, and interacitve magazine for Sony users, Sony’s new ultra-portable device, the PSP, has had it’s newest version leaked right before E3! The slim device that looks similar to the Sony Milo named the “PSP Go!” boasts the following, yet it has NO SECOND ANALOG NUB! Was this done on purpose? If this was a mistake, someone is going to pay for it!
  • 3.8-inch display (resolution is undisclosed)
  • 43 percent lighter than the PSP-3000
  • 16GB of Flash storage
  • Bluetooth built-in; supports handset tethering and BT headsets
  • No UMD drive
  • Memory Stick Micro slot
  • New Gran TurismoLittle Big Planet and new Metal Gear Solid (!) on the way
  • Full PlayStation Network support (movie and TV rentals / purchases)
  • Integration with PlayStation 3 (works the same as the PSP-3000 does)
  • Sony views each of its products as “10-year lifecycle products,” so the PSP “needs to live on.”

BG&E2 was teased May og last year. Ubisoft seems to have shown us some gameplay footage of the game a couple days ago. There will be more footage at E3.

Missed Headlines for Last Wednesday

Starting off the news, Apple announced that Phil Schiller will leading the WWDC 09′ keynote. So where exactly is Jobs? He should be back later in June.

Along with allowing new to AT&T customers to purchase and activate iPhones on Apple’s website, they also launched three new ads. The first ad “Customer Care” focuses on Apple’s Genius Bar and phone support. The other two “Selective Calling” and “Megan” count on the fact that PC’s are unreliable, and continually get viruses. The “Megan” ad focuses heavily on the “Congrats, It’s a PC” ads.

Google has beefed up their web services, including “search”, which adds more features to the “settings” option when searching from Google.

Lastly, for all the PS3 fans, a Slimmer PS3 has been rumored to show its face at E3 this year. Sony UK has commented by saying they have no PS3 redesigns scheduled at this time.
