Apple quietly updated their Mac Pro and Xserve lines today, boosting each in performance and options.
The Mac Pro now features an option for a 3.33GHz Xeon processor and a large, speedy 2TB 3Gb/s 7,200rpm hard drive. The Mac Pro will not feature 3.33GHz Xeon processors for 8 core machines. Those only go up to 2.93GHz. (The new Xeon processor will add $1,200 on to the base line price.
Xserve was also updated with the newer 2TB option, leading to a grand total of 6TB of storage on an Xserve.
