AT&T Updates Us, Lets Loopt Run In Background

AT&T knows they haven’t been very good to us. But that’s ok, right? Right. Here’s their explanation:

Not only that, but Loopt will become the first semi-official “run in the background” app for the iPhone. The iPhone does not apps run in the background so that it’s battery can last longer. However, for $3.99, you can be stalked 24/7! Hooray. AT&T will let the application remain connected to it’s server however, the app will not be running in the background completely.
