AMD Asset Smart’s completion leads to serparation of the company

Let’s go over the basics. Asset Smart is basically deals with the manufacturing portion of AMD. Its goal is to make chips and reduce production cost. As you can see, the Assets changed over periods of time.
1998 – SPC
2000 – APC
2003 – APM
2005 – LEAN
2008 – SMART

Due to AMD’s enormous production expenses, AMD decided to make the manufacturing portion a serparate company of its own. It will be called Foundry Company.
